About the Role: We’re looking for a driven and hands-on Service Manager, with a sharp eye for detail and high standards, to lead a small, skilled team working with premium brands. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining exceptional service standards, and getting the best from your team. Responsibilities:

  • To manage and lead a team of both workshop and field service engineers to ensure that effective and efficient service operations are delivered
  • To plan and coordinate scheduled service work, emergency repairs, overhauls, and refurbishments
  • To provide support and guidance as needed to the team to ensure business objectives are achieved
  • To maintain fluid and effective communications across the team to ensure customer requirements are met
  • To monitor and report on performance data and related financial information

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Service Manager/ Service Technician role
  • Excellent practical machinery experience in either the agricultural, forestry, or construction sectors
  • A good working knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Disciplined, highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Capable of monitoring performance, and motivating a team
  • The ability to work independently with a proactive and systematic approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to build and manage customer relationships
  • Clean UK driving licence

Pay range and compensation package: A competitive salary and package commensurate with the candidate's level of experience. N.B. the role includes participation in a weekend rota to support business needs.
