Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, using effective assessment methods to ensure strong student outcomes.
- Create schemes of work and contribute to curriculum development aligned with industry and academic standards.
- Monitor and manage student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support continuous improvement in learning.
- Provide student support and act as a personal tutor setting targets, and promoting student welfare and engagement.
- Contribute to quality improvement processes, maintain accurate records, meet KPIs, and support audits and awarding bodies inspections.
- Participate in wider college activities, CPD, team collaboration, recruitment events, and promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
- Degree or relevant qualification in agriculture or a related sector.
- GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths (Level 2+).
- Industry experience with a strong understanding of the agricultural sector in particular livestock.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying information to a wide range of audiences.
- Organised, adaptable and able to manage workload effectively.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
- Experienced in adapting to change and problem solving.
- Professional, methodical, and detail-oriented approach.
- Enthusiastic about learning, developing others, and delivering engaging training.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications.
- Previous teaching or training experience (or willingness to achieve).
