Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, using effective assessment methods to ensure strong student outcomes.
  • Create schemes of work and contribute to curriculum development aligned with industry and academic standards.
  • Monitor and manage student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support continuous improvement in learning.
  • Provide student support and act as a personal tutor setting targets, and promoting student welfare and engagement.
  • Contribute to quality improvement processes, maintain accurate records, meet KPIs, and support audits and awarding bodies inspections.
  • Participate in wider college activities, CPD, team collaboration, recruitment events, and promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
Qualifications
  • Degree or relevant qualification in agriculture or a related sector.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths (Level 2+).
Required Skills
  • Industry experience with a strong understanding of the agricultural sector in particular livestock.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying information to a wide range of audiences.
  • Organised, adaptable and able to manage workload effectively.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Experienced in adapting to change and problem solving.
  • Professional, methodical, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Enthusiastic about learning, developing others, and delivering engaging training.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications.
