This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and relationship-focused sales professional to join a leading bovine genetics business covering the North of England. Working closely with progressive dairy farmers, the Livestock Technical Sales Consultant will play a key role in improving herd performance and farm profitability through industry-leading genetics, breeding advice, and herd improvement solutions, while managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities across the region.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across a designated sales territory
- Conduct regular on-farm visits to understand customer needs and provide tailored breeding advice to improve herd performance
- Drive sales growth across the product portfolio by converting leads, developing new customers, and expanding existing accounts
- Manage customer accounts and sales records while delivering high levels of customer service and satisfaction
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business to support sales initiatives and enhance brand presence
- A strong knowledge and understanding of dairy systems.
- Proven experience in a direct-to-farm sales/account management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, able to manage own diary
- A relationship builder, able to build long-lasting business relationships with farming customers
