About the Role:
We’re looking for a confident, highly organised Executive Assistant to support the Business Director of a leading UK red meat business. This is more than a typical EA role; you will be a trusted partner, helping drive procurement strategy, manage projects, and keep day-to-day operations running seamlessly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you are a proactive problem-solver with sharp attention to detail and a strong understanding of business operations, especially in agriculture or food production, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex calendars, travel plans (including international logistics), and high-level meetings.
- Handle confidential information and business matters with complete discretion.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents for strategic decision-making.
- Support procurement-related tasks, such as market research, supplier performance tracking, and project updates.
- Coordinate internal communications and act as a liaison with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Assist in planning board meetings, corporate events, and cross-functional projects.
- Keep projects and priorities on track by anticipating needs and solving problems before they arise.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven EA or senior admin experience, ideally in food production, agriculture, or supply chain environments.
- Exceptional organisational skills, able to manage multiple moving parts under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication with a professional tone.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience managing confidential business information.
