About the Role:

We’re looking for a confident, highly organised Executive Assistant to support the Business Director of a leading UK red meat business. This is more than a typical EA role; you'll be a trusted partner, helping drive procurement strategy, manage projects, and keep day-to-day operations running seamlessly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you’re a proactive problem-solver with sharp attention to detail and a strong understanding of business operations, especially in agriculture or food production, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex calendars, travel plans (including international logistics), and high-level meetings.
  • Handle confidential information and business matters with complete discretion.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents for strategic decision-making.
  • Support procurement-related tasks, such as market research, supplier performance tracking, and project updates.
  • Coordinate internal communications and act as a liaison with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning board meetings, corporate events, and cross-functional projects.
  • Keep projects and priorities on track by anticipating needs and solving problems before they arise.

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven EA or senior admin experience, ideally in food production, agriculture, or supply chain environments.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, able to manage multiple moving parts under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a professional tone.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience managing confidential business information.
  • A calm, adaptable approach with great judgment and initiative.
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a fast-paced leadership team.
