Key Account Manager
Are you an experienced commercial B2B account manager, ideally with a background in agriculture, agrochemicals, or technical sales, ready to drive customer performance, retention, and strategic growth?
About the Company
The company is a UK-based, family-owned and operated contract manufacturer, specialising in liquid formulation development and production for the agriculture, amenity, and horticulture industries.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow relationships, focusing on customer performance and retention.
- Implement and execute effective sales strategies and manage contract negotiations.
- Conduct customer visits, engage in field activities, and represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Work cross‑functionally and collaboratively with the Business Development, production, and R&D teams.
- Handle reporting and forecasting duties.
- Stay current with technology and trends within the industry.
- Provide support and resolution for customer issues.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B Account Management, preferably within agriculture, agrochemicals, or technical sales.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and data‑driven account planning.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
- An understanding of crop nutrition, agronomy, or related technical fields.
- Knowledge or experience of the amenity sector.
