The Head of Sales role is a unique and exciting opportunity to drive the UK commercial strategy for an international company at the forefront of livestock management technology. In this fast-paced, high-autonomy environment, you will use your proven sales expertise to refine successful approaches, scale what delivers impact, and introduce cutting-edge agricultural solutions to the UK market. Working remotely alongside the Chief Commercial Officer, you will develop strong, trust-based relationships with farmers, applying your deep agricultural insight to genuinely understand their challenges and deliver solutions that make a difference. Responsibilities:

  • To build, lead, and inspire a high-performing UK sales team, creating structure with a results-driven culture
  • To develop and execute a sales strategy that drives growth through farmer engagement and relationship-building across the UK
  • To oversee and optimise the end-to-end sales systems, using analytics and technology to drive process excellence
  • To represent the company at industry events and key customer meetings
  • To collaborate with the marketing team to drive lead generation and conversion
  • To stay abreast of industry trends to drive growth, achieve targets, and identify opportunities in new markets

Qualifications:

Essential: Degree qualification within sales, business, or a related field

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a sales management role
  • Experience in leading high-performing sales teams, coaching, inspiring, and leading by example
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C sales, with excellent sales skills and principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A knowledge and understanding of agriculture, particularly the beef sector
  • A team collaborator who can work effectively and cohesively across the business
  • A relationship builder able to build and maintain lasting business relationships
  • A strategic thinker with good business acumen
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, able to prioritise workloads to meet business needs
  • Self-motivated, with a practical, hands-on approach
  • Confident in using data, analysing trends, and driving positive outcomes
  • Highly professional and results-driven
  • UK driving licence, with the desire to travel across the UK, and willing to travel internationally when required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working across European markets
