As a Farm Consultant, you will combine your agricultural knowledge, commercial insight and strong interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with a portfolio of clients across your region. Working closely with farmers and agricultural businesses, you will support decision-making across areas such as business performance and financial planning helping clients achieve their goals. Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional farm consultancy service to a portfolio of farming clients in your area
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships through regular farm visits
- Conduct farm business reviews and provide tailored recommendations to drive long-term success
- Prepare and present clear insightful reports to support client decision making
- Drive success and growth in your area in line with the strategic direction
- Stay informed on industry developments and market trends
Qualifications:
- Essential: Degree or HND in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related discipline
Required Skills:
- Proven commercial experience within the agricultural sector
- Strong knowledge of livestock, dairy, arable or mixed farming systems
- Excellent communication skills across a range of audiences
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop trusted partnerships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficient IT and Microsoft Office skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
