As a Farm Consultant, you will combine your agricultural knowledge, commercial insight and strong interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with a portfolio of clients across your region. Taking the time to understand each business, its challenges and future ambitions, you will provide tailored advice and practical solutions that deliver results. Working closely with farmers and agricultural businesses, you will support decision-making across areas such as business performance and financial planning helping clients achieve their goals. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional farm consultancy service to a portfolio of farming clients in your area
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships through regular farm visits
  • Conduct farm business reviews and provide tailored recommendations to drive long-term success
  • Prepare and present clear insightful reports to support client decision making
  • Drive success and growth in your area in line with the strategic direction
  • Stay informed on industry developments and market trends

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Degree or HND in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related discipline

Required Skills:

  • Proven commercial experience within the agricultural sector
  • Strong knowledge of livestock, dairy, arable or mixed farming systems
  • Excellent communication skills across a range of audiences
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop trusted partnerships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficient IT and Microsoft Office skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
