Role Responsibilities:
- To identify and actively pursue new business opportunities across amenity, landscape, agricultural, and private landowner sectors
- To develop and implement strategic business development plans, targeting key customers and sectors
- To build and maintain strong client relationships through tailored solutions, and exceptional service
- To meet and exceed sales targets and performance measures to increase market share
- To develop strong product and tree species knowledge to provide clients with tailored advice and solutions
- To stay up to date on market trends and competitor landscape, actively identify new opportunities
- To work collaboratively with the wider team, promoting the brand and product range
Skills you will need:
Essential:
- A track record in a business development role, ideally within horticulture, landscaping, forestry, retail or agriculture
- Strong knowledge of either the agricultural sector, amenity, landscape, farm or estate sectors
- A relationship builder who can foster business relationships fluidly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across a range of audiences
- Entrepreneurial and growth-focused, skilled at identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Highly organised, personable, and motivated, able to manage own diary
- Results-driven with focus on achieving and exceeding targets
- Highly professional with excellent customer service skills
- A passion for sustainable growing practices and environmental conservation
- A team player with a collaborative and results-orientated approach
- A UK driving licence and the desire to travel
