About the Company : We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join a progressive team dedicated to improving herd health and driving performance across dairy farms.
About the Role : As an Area Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of your designated territory across Northern Ireland, operating in a field-based capacity with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities :
- Proactively manage and grow a designated sales territory to maximise market presence
- Identify and acquire new customers through proactive prospecting and strong closing abilities
- Provide consultative, expert guidance to prospective customers by identifying their needs and challenges and recommending tailored solutions
- To meet activity KPIs and sales targets
- Effectively use the CRM system to manage customer contacts, sales activities, and market information
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Represent the company at trade shows and customer events
Qualifications :
- Proven track record in sales within the dairy sector or related sectors
- Knowledge of the dairy farming sector & current technologies
Required Skills :
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise and manage your own time
- High self-motivation, energy, and perseverance to achieve or exceed your sales targets
- A broad network in the dairy industry that sees you as a trusted and competent partner
- Positive attitude and resilience
- A driving licence and the motivation for field sales
