We are now looking for a skilled and talented London-based PR & Social Media Manager to elevate our profile across the media industry, strengthen our positioning, and grow our owned and earned audiences to support B2B growth.
Core tasks and duties:
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments.
- Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Ensure projects are running smoothly.
- Support development of business and brand partnership decks (including client proposals).
- Manage and deliver both in-house and branded projects.
- Proof-check materials.
- Cost up projects and ensure budgets are adhered to.
- Type, compile and prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Liaise with staff, suppliers, and clients.
- Look for commercial opportunities at all times.
- Brief contractors and team members on projects.
- Ensure set deadlines and targets are met both by you and others.
- Organise and plan meetings, including client meetings.
- Take notes and write minutes during meetings.
- Ensure all team members and contractors are briefed and are meeting deadlines.
- Handle various ad hoc requests.
- Assist with company admin, accounts, databases, and filing systems.
The successful candidate:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Fashion/Marketing/Business Management.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in project management in the media/creative industries.
- Has a proven record of previous successful projects and examples such as proposal decks.
- Has a proven record of excellent writing for commercial purposes.
- Must be able to write in a professional manner.
- Will possess strong awareness of the worlds of fashion, luxury lifestyle, streetwear, and their trends, including sneaker culture.
- Will possess strong awareness of emerging designers, creatives, and talent.
- Will have a thorough understanding of all current social media platforms, especially of interest to Gen-Z such as TikTok.
- Will have a positive and solution-first attitude.
- Will know how to manage individuals and solve issues in a positive manner.
- Will know how to bring the best out of teams and help them progress.
- Is active on LinkedIn and aims to grow own network and represent the company at all times.
- Has the ability to understand the importance of brand and visual identity.
- Is extremely dynamic and eager to learn new skills.
