We are now looking for a skilled and talented London-based Audience Director to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping Rad Media's next chapter of growth!
The role
The Group Audience Director is a senior leadership role responsible for audience strategy, growth and performance across Rad Media's portfolio of brands. Working across content, insight and commercial teams, this role ensures our brands continue to grow meaningful, engaged audiences while maintaining strong cultural authority. You'll oversee the content department, guide audience development at a group level, and support the evaluation and onboarding of new media brands as the portfolio grows. This is a hands-on, strategic role suited to someone who understands how modern media brands scale - creatively, commercially and culturally.
Core tasks and duties
- Audience & Content Leadership
- Own audience strategy across all Rad Media brands
- Oversee the content department to ensure clear positioning, quality and consistency
- Set and track audience KPIs focused on engagement, retention and growth
- Develop and scale standout content formats and recurring franchises
- Ensure content works across platforms while protecting brand identity
- Collaborate with partnerships and studio teams on commercially relevant ideas
- Support research and evaluation of new media brands and audience opportunities
- Help onboard and integrate new brands into Rad Media's ecosystem
- Guide audience growth plans for new and existing brands
- Use audience data and insight to inform editorial and commercial decisions
- Translate performance insights into clear actions for teams
- Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-brand content and audience team
- Create clear structures, ownership and sustainable ways of working
The successful candidate
- Senior experience in audience, editorial or content leadership
- Background in youth, culture or premium media
- Strong understanding of platform-native growth and audience behaviour
- Experience working across multiple brands or content streams
- Commercial awareness, with exposure to partnerships or branded content
- Confident decision-maker with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- You are strategic but execution-focused
- Culturally fluent and audience-led
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
- Proactive, collaborative and solutions-oriented
