Since our launch in 2019, we’ve been at the forefront of Gen-Z culture, producing and publishing content daily at the speed of social media. Our work spans fashion, beauty, art, sport, music, and youth culture - always with a forward-thinking perspective that resonates with young audiences. Through our omni-channel approach and captivating content, we’ve built a fast-growing international audience of over 2.5 million users, establishing Rad Media as a trusted voice and partner for brands seeking authentic engagement with Gen-Z.
We are now looking for a skilled and talented London based Creative Strategist to join our team on a full-time basis.
Core tasks and duties:
- Own and grow a portfolio of major brand partners, acting as the senior point of contact across all stages of the client relationship.
- Ensure all work reinforces the strategy required to solve client business challenges — pushing back where needed on creative or direction that doesn’t serve that goal.
- Demonstrate deep ownership of each client’s brand, with a relentless focus on their success and retention.
- Lead quarterly account reviews and input on annual strategy, revenue growth, and budget allocation.
- Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within existing client relationships.
Creative & Strategic Excellence:
- Champion the creative product and set clear expectations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Be the expert on each client’s business, competitors, and industry — actively contributing to the strategic development of our work.
- Develop innovative strategies and activations that create meaningful, original impact for clients.
- Use data and performance insight to identify trends and optimise campaign outcomes.
Team & Operations:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the team — fostering a culture of going above and beyond.
- Ensure all internal teams are well-briefed, clearly directed, and delivering to a high standard, on time and within budget.
- Delegate effectively while maintaining Rad Media’s quality standards across every project.
- Manage client expectations against budget with transparency and confidence.
Commercial Growth & Agency Development:
- Drive new business development alongside the founder, including pitching and proposals.
- Lead the build-out of new agency offerings — particularly a formalised Strategy practice that elevates how we position and sell our work.
- Identify how AI tools and emerging technology can drive efficiency across delivery, creative, and reporting — and embed smarter ways of working across the team.
- Contribute to agency positioning, credentials, and how we show up in market.
The successful candidate:
- 5–7+ years’ experience in media planning, creative, or integrated agency environments.
- Proven track record managing brand partnerships and delivering campaigns that drive real business results.
- Experience managing media budgets, analysing performance metrics, and turning insight into action.
- Background leading or mentoring a team of creative or media professionals.
Skills:
- Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and deeply passionate about culture, creativity, and media.
- Culturally aware — genuinely interested in culture, passion points, and what moves audiences.
- A solutions-first thinker who handles challenges with a positive, constructive approach.
- Strong understanding of brand, visual identity, and consumer behaviour.
- Confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple campaigns and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
