We are now looking for a skilled and talented London-based PR & Social Media Manager to elevate our profile across the media industry, strengthen our positioning, and grow our owned and earned audiences to support B2B growth.
The role: This is a group-level role responsible for shaping and executing PR strategy, managing social media output, and building owned audiences across Rad Media and Rad Studio. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and internal teams to turn insight, data, and case studies into compelling stories that drive relevance, credibility, and commercial impact. This role will be an initial 3-month contract with potential to join on a permanent basis.
Core tasks and duties:
- PR & Communications
- Grow Rad Media’s presence across relevant press and industry media titles
- Build, manage, and leverage strong press relationships within the media, marketing, culture, and B2B space
- Propose and execute PR strategies that enhance brand image, relevance, and market positioning
- Support PR across Rad Studio, Culted, XO, and Group-level announcements, ensuring clarity and consistency
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership, commentary, features, and partnerships
- Write and distribute press releases, pitches, and media responses
- Social Media Management
- Own and manage social media output for Rad Media and Rad Studio
- Develop and execute social strategies across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
- Ensure content aligns with brand voice, business objectives, and audience growth
- Monitor performance, engagement, and audience trends to inform future content
- Newsletter & Audience Growth
- Create and own a bi-weekly Rad Studio newsletter focused on insights, learnings, and cultural intelligence
- Develop a clear newsletter strategy to grow subscribers, build authority, and nurture a B2B audience
- Work with internal teams to extract data, case studies, and learnings from ongoing projects
- Translate insights into clear, engaging editorial that supports B2B sales and commercial conversations
- Use social and PR channels to drive newsletter sign-ups and engagement
- Track performance and optimise content based on open rates, engagement, and commercial impact
- Collaboration & Content
- Work closely with internal teams (commercial, editorial, creative, strategy) to source data, insights, and case studies
- Translate internal work into compelling external narratives across press, social, and owned channels
- Support launches, announcements, and campaigns with integrated PR, social, and newsletter activity
The successful candidate:
- Proven experience in PR, ideally within media, culture, creative, or B2B environments
- Existing press relationships with relevant media titles
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to spot and create media opportunities
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with confidence across press, social, and long-form editorial
- Strong understanding of social media and owned audience growth, including newsletters
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of how content supports B2B sales
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple brands
- Collaborative and confident working with senior stakeholders
