Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative flair, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for detail. From branding and graphic design to photography, videography, and beyond, this role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, making it an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented individual.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re the type of person who:

  • Has 2+ years’ experience in a similar creative content role (in-house or agency)
  • Is a natural storyteller with a creative spark that shows up in everything you do.
  • Treats the camera and editing tools as an extension of yourself – technical skills feel second nature, so you can focus on creativity without getting bogged down.
  • Has an innate eye for style and design, with a love of interiors and how people live with beautiful objects.
  • Balances creativity with practicality and organisation, able to deliver work that’s not only visually stunning but also on time.
  • Is collaborative and open-minded, happy to bounce around ideas, share your vision, and also take on feedback to make the final output stronger.
  • Brings a positive, can-do energy to projects – someone the team can rely on when deadlines are tight but without compromising on quality.
  • Constantly scrolls Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest for inspiration – and gets excited thinking about how to make trends work for a brand.
  • Is adaptable: one day might be shooting in the showroom / office / studio, the next editing from home, the next creating graphics to pull a campaign together.
  • Has a genuine love for creativity outside of work – whether that’s art, film, fashion, interiors, or design trends – and wants to bring that personal passion into your professional work.

Social Media Content Creation

·Work with the Marketing Team and our London Showroom Team to develop content for the different social media channels

·In addition to working to briefs, we are looking for a true story teller who can create their own ideas and add to the creative ideas process to make us stand out from our competitors

·A strong understanding of the requirements for different forms of social media channels and the types of content they require

·Awareness of social media trending concepts in video production

·An interest in interior design with knowledge around product types and therefore interior design related video ideas is a bonus

Photography

·Handle all aspects of social content photography, from pre-production planning to post-production editing

·Utilise DSLR cameras confidently to capture high-quality images

·Ensure consistency in visual style across all photography led projects

·Edit and enhance photos to meet the highest standards

·Experience shooting on location and studio is preferred with knowledge around lighting set ups for studio work

Videography and Video Editing

·Collaborate with our marketing team to understand the brand\\\’s goals and objectives for each video ad campaign.

·Conceptualize, plan, and execute high-quality video content for various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok with a strong understanding of the need for different styles of content depending on the specific social channel.

·Capture and edit video footage, ensuring a visually appealing and cohesive final product resulting in highly shareable content

·Manage video production from start to finish, including scripting, shooting, editing, and post-production.

·Transform still lifestyle images of our furniture into engaging and eye-catching digital video ads for use on our social media platforms

·Optimize videos for different social media platforms, taking into account platform-specific requirements.

·Utilize popular video editing software like VideoLeap, CapCut, or equivalent tools to edit and enhance video content.

·Create visually appealing animations, transitions, motion graphics, fonts and effects to make our products stand out.

·Ensure that the videos maintain brand consistency in terms of style, colours, and messaging.

·Stay updated on the latest design trends and techniques to keep our video ads fresh and relevant.

·Meet weekly deadlines by delivering approximately 4 high-quality video ads per week.

·Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and offer creative input for upcoming campaigns.

Branding & Graphic Design

·Work with the Creative Team to develop and maintain a strong and cohesive brand identity that fits the relevant social media channel but is also aligned to the core cult brand identity

·Craft visual elements that resonate with the brand’s ethos and target audience

·Create engaging content for social media platforms; including but not limited to reels, static graphics and carousels

·Be hyperaware of the latest design trends in graphic design, colour and fashion to ensure we are seen as leaders in our field in terms of trend and design

Other

·Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite tools: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator

·Knowledge of other creative software e.g. Canva and Figma

·Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends

·Manage and organise files efficiently using platforms such as Dropbox

·Understand various digital file types (PNG, JPEG, PDF, etc.) and optimise content accordingly

·Continuously enhance skills through self-initiated learning

·Keep up with the latest trends in design, photography and multimedia

·Consistent strong attention to all details – Collaborate with the team to fulfil additional content needs as required

·Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

·Proven experience in video production and editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

·Strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for visual details

·Proficiency in popular video editing software such as VideoLeap, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

·Solid understanding of social media platforms, their formats, and what makes content engaging on each.

·Knowledge of motion graphics and animation

·Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to create visually stunning video ads.

·Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.

·Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·Flexibility to adapt to evolving brand guidelines and market trends.

·Previous experience in creating video ads for furniture or lifestyle brands is a plus.
