We specialize in working with exceptional founders across tech, AI, B2B SaaS, and emerging sectors. Our modern, agile approach blends strategic capital raising with deep execution experience. We are seeking a driven Vice President of Investment Banking to lead deal origination and support execution on select mandates.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be sourcing new clients and converting founder conversations into signed engagements. You’ll also support the execution team with due diligence, investor communication, and occasional deal management, making this a well-rounded role with high impact across the entire transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Origination: Identify and engage promising founders raising capital (typically $5M–$25M), using outbound outreach, referral networks, and strategic partnerships.

Client Conversion: Conduct intro calls, qualify prospects, shape the offer, and close engagements.

Due Diligence Support: Assist in reviewing financials, pitch decks, and data room materials to ensure client readiness and alignment with investor expectations.

Investor Coordination: Support investor outreach by preparing summaries, scheduling meetings, and tracking follow-up actions.

Strategic Input: Work with our execution team on positioning, narrative development, and founder coaching to maximize conversion to due diligence and term sheets.

Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain clean data and clear reporting on outreach, conversion rates, and active mandates.

Who You Are

4+ years in investment banking, VC, private equity, or hedge fund.

Proven track record sourcing and closing mandates or engagements

Comfortable leading founder-facing conversations and building trust quickly

Commercially sharp, organized, and fluent in capital markets concepts

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus: Prior experience reviewing investor materials, conducting financial diligence, or running founder due diligence processes

Compensation

This is a commission-only role with high upside. You’ll earn a percentage of each engagement you originate, with on-target earnings (OTE) of $120K+ per year, and uncapped potential. Additional performance-based upside available for contributions to closing live deals.
