1.JOB PURPOSE

• Responsible for checking 2D detail manufacturing drawings and general arrangement drawings.

2.JOB ACTIVITIES

• To check all detail and arrangement drawings required by the Company in a timely manner.
• To achieve and improve the deadlines established for each project.
• To register and issue drawings in line with Company standards.
• Check that all draughting is carried out in accordance with the relevant British Standards and the current Company Standard.
• Visit site and client as necessary.
• Any other duties as may be required from time to time.

3.SUPERVISION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The post holder will communicate with other services and outside organisations
• The work is varied, may be complex and involve changing rapidly from one task to another during the working day
• The post holder will work as part of a team and under his / her own initiative and shall lead by example
• The post holder must work to attain optimum performance in service delivery within the area of responsibility
• The post holder should seek the advice of the Engineering Development & Delivery Manager on difficult or contentious matters
