Job Title: HR Administrator Department: HR Responsible to: Senior HR Advisor

1. JOB PURPOSE
The HR Administrator is expected to work as part of the HR team in order to provide full support to the HR Senior Advisor in the delivery of an efficient and effective HR service to all stakeholders.
2. JOB ACTIVITIES
Provide day to day admin support to the HR Assistant and HR Manager in an efficient and timely manner
Update HR systems, databases and spreadsheets as directed ensuring accurate records are maintained at all times
Maintain and update filing of Personnel information to ensure that records are accurate and up to date.
Booking all training in accordance with Safety Critical Training Matrix and any training identified by your line Manager or Directors, ensuring that the Matrix is updated, and relevant evidence of training recorded on Employee files. Make electronic copies of certificates. Issue Evaluation forms
Update and maintain training records for the business and liaise with line managers regarding training and certification queries.
Co-ordinating the health surveillance process, in liaison with the Line Managers and Occupational Health provider, ensuring that all relevant employees receive the necessary surveillance and ensuring accurate records are kept.
Support the HR Assistant in the recruitment process including the organisation of interviews and assessments, maintenance and distribution of cvs and distribution of other recruitment related correspondence.
Monitoring and recording contractors.
Support the HR Assistant in the management of leavers from the business.
Assist with any other activities as required by HR Manager or HR Assistant

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
Minimum GCSE grade 5 or equivalent in English and Maths.
There is the opportunity to complete your CIPD qualification supported by Cullum.
EXPERIENCE
Desirable
Proficient communication and administrative skills with an ability to get on with people at all levels.
An understanding of HR department processes and procedures
Previous administration experience.
Good IT skills, particularly in relation Microsoft Office applications
