Working as part of the FastTrack team and dependant on the requirement to be split between office (Heanor, Derbyshire) and fully site based within the UK or overseas the undertaking of prestart works, planning and the management, execution and delivery of installation projects to the quoted scope, delivery dates, budget, Client & Business needs. To ensure the timely on-site installation, testing and site commissioning of all mechanical equipment. To liaise with Clients at Site Level to agree modes of operation and, where applicable assist in the production of Method Statements and Risk Assessment. To supervise sites and provide advice and guidance to the site installation team. To comply with all Health and Safety responsibilities with the role and task, as outlined in the Cullum Health and Safety Policies and Documentation and any client site specific requirements Daily reporting site-based project progress against the agreed programme and any delays to the Project Manager or in their absence the head of the FastTrack Business unit Work with Project/Sales Engineers to create the core work elements or work breakdown structure (WBS) to support effective costing & site project delivery. To support the Sales and Projects teams by planning and undertaking site surveys and producing technical reports detailing the condition of installed equipment. With a view to aid in the support of future work. 2. JOB ACTIVITIES Work directly with Customers, Sales/Applications Engineers and Project Engineers to develop estimates, costing and plans for on-site installation projects within the UK or overseas Engage with relevant stakeholders, to ensure deliverables align with on-site requirements and client's requirements Engage and coordinate with internal stakeholders and the external supply chain to ensure on-time delivery of items to Uk sites or overseas Plan, develop and prepare project Health & safety files and not limited to: Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Registers. to ensure compliance with current regulations and legislations for UK and overseas sites. To oversee the Site installation phase of projects, working closely and liaising with site personnel, customer, suppliers, sub-contractors and Cullum associated departments. Maintaining the Project Snag List with respect to Mechanical Installation, assist with generation and completion of site documentation. Monitor materials and workmanship of Sub-Contractors to ensure the works installed are in accordance with the Approved Drawings materials and specifications. Ensure project delivery is on time, within budget, and of good quality as far as reasonably practical within delivery constraints. Plan, arrange, execute and produce site survey reports within the UK or overseas for clients. The expected frequency is 1 week per month travelling to client site locations within the UK and overseas to undertake site-based and offshore inspection activity Assist with or carry out any other sales/project activities as required by your Line Manager or International Sales Director. 3. SUPERVISION AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead by example on matters of Health Safety & Environmental, welfare and codes of conduct. Identify and implement areas of improvement for Site working. Work under, own initiative providing guidance and supervision of Site personnel. Work to attain optimum performance within the Installations Department and associated areas of Site responsibility. Responsible for the control of designated site resource including personnel welfare, Health & Safety and discipline on assigned projects. Periodic audits of worksites, ensuring compliance with Cullum, Customer, and HSE process, in particular CDM and Permit control. Reporting to your line manager you will be expected to work independently and achieve results without supervision. Strong team working ethic, able to contribute to a dynamic group, working under own initiative and as part the department and wider team as required. The work is varied, may be complex and will involve changing rapidly from one task to another during the working day, often under pressure. 4. Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and operational management, and an ability to motivate people for all aspects of the business to fulfil both business and project requirements.
