We seek to appoint a highly motivated, outstanding practitioner to work as a Teacher of History 1.0 FTE (fixed term, full time contract to cover maternity leave). Applicants should demonstrate a clear vision for the promotion, teaching and learning of English. We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Teacher of History to provide high quality teaching and promote effective learning for students for whom the teacher is accountable.

The role includes teaching History at Key Stages Three and Four. The GCSE syllabus is Pearson/Edexcel, and we teach Medicine through Time, Early Elizabethan England, Superpower Relations (Cold War) and Germany. At Key Stage Three, students study a wide range of history including different themes, periods and countries. Topics include Medieval England, the Industrial Revolution, Changing Political Power, the First World War and the French and Bolshevik Revolutions.
