We are seeking a Refurbishment Operative to join our team in our centralised refurbishment centre based in Fillongley. You will work on the testing and refurbishment of returned water coolers and other products in line with the business needs, ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe, controlled and cost effective manner to a high quality standard.
Responsibilities
- Review all returned products to evaluate opportunity to refurbish
- Check that products are electrically and visually safe before PAT testing
- Cleaning of the product using only approved chemicals, in line with company procedures
- Sanitise and descale products as required
- Packaging, striping and assembly of units & components
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out where required
- Assist with stock control of components, ensuring a continuous supply is available
- To liaise with the team leader when re-ordering is required
- Maintain security of all stock
- To complete basic administration tasks using the computer if required
- Operate machinery and tools in a safe, effective manner following training.
Requirements
The successful applicant will have the ability to follow processes, be able to work to deadlines and be used to working in a fast paced environment, with an eye for detail. All training will be given.
