As the Interim Project Manager, you will take the helm in steering critical projects throughout the organisation, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with our key business goals. This dynamic role demands exceptional coordination skills, clear and effective communication, and the ability to seamlessly integrate with teams to accelerate progress. Your responsibilities will encompass project planning, engaging stakeholders, managing risks, and delivering comprehensive reports, all while maintaining momentum across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate will bring stability during this transition period by providing hands-on leadership and structured project governance, driving successful outcomes every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct projects from their initiation through to completion and closure
- Create and update comprehensive project plans, including milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Manage change initiatives alongside project execution to guarantee adoption and long-term sustainability
- Effectively engage, influence, and communicate with senior stakeholders and sponsors
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve agreed-upon objectives
- Provide support for system deployments, business integrations, and product launches as needed
- Supervise process mapping and the integration of new working methods
- Deliver clear and consistent project reporting along with governance updates
- Ensure the seamless handover of deliverables into business-as-usual operations
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering projects as a Project Manager
- Demonstrable experience of change management and business engagement
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
- Comfortable using Excel for tracking, reporting, and basic analysis
- Willing and able to travel to Wolverhampton 3-4 days per week, plus other UK locations as required
Desirable
- Experience managing system deployments, business integrations, and/or product launches
- Experience in process mapping and embedding new ways of working
- Data and analytical skills
