The Sales Enablement Manager is a strategic role responsible for building and leading our sales enablement function across the UK sales organisation. This role will design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programmes, develop sales playbooks and methodologies, create compelling sales content, and drive continuous skill development that measurably improves sales productivity, win rates, and time-to-productivity for new hires. The role requires someone who can design methodologies, create content, facilitate learning, measure impact, and drive adoption of best practices across a complex, multi-brand sales organisation. The Sales Enablement Manager will be responsible for leading the Incentive Plan and Commission process.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and deliver onboarding programmes (30/60/90 days) for new sales hires across multiple roles.
  • Build certification and mentorship programmes to accelerate productivity and create a high-performance culture.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to support CRM and sales tool training.
  • Track and improve onboarding success metrics, including time-to-first-deal and quota attainment.
  • Develop and implement sales methodologies and frameworks (e.g. MEDDIC) aligned to business objectives.
  • Create sales playbooks, qualification processes, account planning tools, and opportunity management frameworks.
  • Capture and scale best practices from top-performing sales teams.
  • Create and maintain sales enablement content including battle cards, value propositions, demo scripts, and training materials.
  • Deliver ongoing training programmes focused on sales skills, product knowledge, and leadership development.
  • Develop engaging learning resources and post-training reinforcement initiatives.
  • Own and optimise enablement platforms and learning systems.
  • Build reporting and analytics to measure training effectiveness, content engagement, and certification progress.
  • Use technology, AI, and automation to improve and scale enablement activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in sales enablement, revenue operations, or related experience in similar roles.
  • 3+ years building enablement programmes: from scratch or significantly transforming existing programmes.
  • 3+ years experience with sales compensation administration: incentive programme management and oversight.
  • Proven track record designing and delivering onboarding programmes that measurably reduce ramp time.
  • Experience creating sales playbooks, methodologies, and content in complex sales environments.
  • Experience supporting sales teams of 30+ people across multiple segments or geographies.
  • Track record of measurable impact on sales productivity, win rates, or revenue growth.
  • Understanding of commission structures, incentive design, and compensation principles.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies [MEDDIC, SPICED, Challenger, Sandler, SPIN, etc.].
  • Expertise in content creation and proficient in Learning Management Systems [LMS] and enablement platforms.
