This position plays a pivotal role in shaping, executing, and overseeing an innovative reward strategy throughout the UK&I, aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier talent.
The initiatives spearheaded by this role will significantly enhance employee performance and behaviors in alignment with business objectives, thereby enriching the overall employee experience.
By adhering to compliant practices, this role will also safeguard internal equity and external competitiveness, ensuring that Culligan remains a preferred employer that fosters a culture of recognition for its people.

Reward Strategy & Design
- Develop a reward philosophy and framework aligned with company objectives.
- Shape effective short-term and long-term reward elements i.e. sales commission schemes which drive business success and motivated performance
Compensation Management
- Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to maintain competitive pay/pay strategies, which will include National Living Wage principles.
- Play a key role in annual pay review activities
Benefits Administration
- Oversee employee benefits (healthcare, pensions, insurance, wellbeing programs, etc.).
- Oversee company car provision (car / car allowance schemes), and associated financial frameworks
- Negotiate with benefit providers and manage contracts.
Performance & Recognition Programs
- Working closely with the HR community, link reward systems to performance management processes,
- Maximise the effectiveness of the Benefit platform in place (currently My Culligan Benefits)
Communication & Engagement
- Educate employees about reward programs and their value, using the Culligan suite of communication tools available – reaching those computer and non-computer based.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership on reward-related decisions.
Analytics & Reporting
- Use data to track trends in pay, turnover, and engagement.
- Produce insights to inform business decisions.
Collaboration
- Work closely with key stakeholders (HR Business Partners / Business SLT teams / Talent / L&D / HRHub teams) to achieve buy-in to new initiatives you lead to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new programs.
Compliance and Best Practices
- Ensure all reward and benefit programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (HMRC (UK) / Revenue (ROI) rules).
- Stay current with trends and best practices in R&B to continuously improve and innovate our programs.
- Maintain an inclusive reward and benefit policy (where applicable) and associated practices, which is underpinned by our Culligan culture and philosophy.
