Join our dynamic Marketing team as an experienced Performance and Insight Manager, where you'll play a pivotal dual role. You'll spearhead customer growth through data-driven offline marketing initiatives while delivering the insights, measurements, and reporting that enhance our overall marketing effectiveness. This exciting new position blends analytical prowess with direct channel management across offline acquisition, allowing for thorough planning, accurate targeting, and ongoing performance enhancement.

Offline Acquisition Strategy and Delivery

  • Design and oversee a robust offline acquisition strategy that spans across various channels such as direct mail, print, inserts, door drops, partnerships, radio, and OOH.
  • Craft annual and quarterly channel plans that align with customer growth objectives and budget targets.
  • Take the lead in briefing, creative development, production, and execution of campaigns, ensuring all assets adhere to brand and compliance standards.
  • Foster and manage relationships with agencies and suppliers to guarantee cost-effective delivery and high-quality output.

Performance Measurement & Marketing Reporting

  • Own reporting of all offline and wider marketing performance, including response rates, CPA, ROI and attribution.
  • Build weekly, monthly and quarterly dashboards and circulate insight-led commentary to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate, timely and aligned with agreed KPIs and measurement frameworks.
  • Provide post-campaign analysis with clear recommendations to improve future delivery.

Customer Insight & Data-Driven Targeting

  • Analyse customer behaviour, segmentation, audience performance and purchasing patterns to inform targeting and channel planning.
  • Partner with Data & Insight teams to select the right audiences and segments for campaigns, ensuring efficient use of data.
  • Analyse customer journeys and funnels to uncover the key factors influencing acquisition, both positively and negatively.
  • Translate these insights into compelling, actionable narratives that resonate with our marketing and commercial teams.

Test-and-Learn, Optimisation & Marketing Effectiveness

  • Lead structured test-and-learn programmes across offline channels (creative, formats, offers, targeting, frequency).
  • Analyse uplift, attribution, and incremental impact to accurately measure the contribution of each channel.
  • Refine the channel mix, allocate spending wisely, and innovate creative strategies to enhance ROI.
  • Support the development of marketing measurement methodologies, including attribution models and response forecasting.

Cross functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Influence

  • Work closely with Brand, Digital Acquisition, CRM, and the Sales team to ensure integrated marketing execution.
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting and performance reconciliation.
  • Present insights, recommendations and performance updates to senior stakeholders in a clear, compelling way.
  • Champion data literacy and evidence-based decision-making across the marketing function.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in offline marketing, campaign management, and/or direct response strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and insight generation, along with a solid background in performance reporting.
  • Thorough knowledge of attribution, ROI assessment, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Skilled in utilising analytics and reporting tools like Power BI, Google Analytics, Excel, and more.
  • Proven experience in managing agencies and supplier relationships.
  • Self-motivated and adept at driving projects from inception to completion.
  • Background in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
