Join our vibrant finance team at Harvey Water Softeners as an AR Associate and play a pivotal role in managing our accounts receivable function. Reporting directly to the Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and resolving any account disputes.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate invoicing for all customer transactions
- Maintain up-to-date customer account information and billing records
- Monitor customer accounts to identify and address overdue payments
- Perform collections calls and follow-up inquiries to ensure timely payment
- Allocation of payments
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues impacting accounts receivable
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and provide insights
- Assist with the reconciliation of customer accounts as necessary
- Support the development and implementation of improved processes within the accounts receivable function
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles
- Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also independently
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to resolve conflicts
- Knowledge of ERP system IFS & CRM System Salesforce is an advantage but not essential
