Exciting opportunity to join our client, a rapidly growing, innovative company offering fractional HR support to SMEs across diverse industries, including Pharma, Biotech, and Financial Services. They are currently seeking a Senior People Advisor to join their dynamic team and help deliver strategic HR advisory services to a portfolio of clients.
You will work fully remote, visiting your portfolio of clients in the Greater Manchester area and attending office meetings monthly in Manchester. All expenses covered! Please note applicants must be based in Manchester area currently. This is an exciting opportunity for a CIPD-qualified HR professional with experience in employee relations, employment law, and strategic HR initiatives. What the Senior People Advisor Will Do:- Manage a client portfolio: Act as the trusted HR advisor for a range of SMEs, providing both reactive and proactive HR support.
- Provide fractional HR support: Offer strategic advice on employee relations, performance management, and general HR strategy.
- Advise clients on complex employment law matters with a commercial approach, ensuring legal compliance while focusing on business outcomes.
- Take the lead on HR projects, including employee engagement initiatives and training and development programs.
- Spot commercial opportunities with clients, offering tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Client site visits: Travel to client locations across the Northwest to provide hands-on support and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in HR roles such as HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or Senior HR Advisor.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and experience in providing strategic, commercially-focused HR advice.
- Previous experience in fractional HR support or HR consulting is a plus.
- A self-starter who thrives in an autonomous role and can manage multiple client relationships effectively.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
- Based in the Greater Manchester area with a willingness to travel to client sites across the Northwest region (travel expenses covered).
- Competitive salary around £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
