We're looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Logistics team in Tilbury, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

  • Shift patterns available
  • 4 on 4 off Shifts (Start times between 00:00 - 03:00, 14:00 - 17;00, 15:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 21:00)
  • 5 on 3 off Shifts (Start times between 00:00 - 03:00, 14:00 - 17;00, 15:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 21:00)

  • Our HGV Drivers have strong earning potential, with shift allowances premiums and the opportunity for overtime, drivers have the potential to earn up £52680 with OTE.

What you'll be doing

  • Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
  • Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres
  • Drivers interested in Night shift will predominately be supporting our trunking operation to Culina Sites
  • No Cage work or Tipping
  • Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
  • Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
  • Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.
  • No Planned Night Outs

What we're looking for

  • Valid C+E Licence.
  • Current valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
  • Minimum 3 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience required
  • No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.
  • Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
  • Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
  • Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.

  • £10 per shift (starts between 12:00-19:59)
