We are now recruiting for a Fleet Administration Manager at our Appleton Thorn site on a full time, permanent basis.
Working hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
As the Fleet Administration Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the fleet admin and maintenance function within the fleet team, as well as ensuring department objectives are achieved through a positive working environment and flexible approach.
Key Duties include:
- Managing the team to ensure all fleet service and maintenance processes are operated within legal compliance.
- Managing invoiced revenue including weekly and monthly miscellaneous invoicing.
- Acting as the point of escalation for the team, communicating with key personnel, including dealer and repair networks and Planning Team.
- Ensuring the team deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Ensuring fleet and business KPI’s are met, maintained and improved through the management of team objectives.
- Managing the staff rota to cover the Fleet Helpdesk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Acting as liaison for insurance claims, gathering invoices for ULR claims and working with wider ops teams to establish full details in a timely manner.
- Maintaining weekly and monthly reporting of KPIs within fleet and the wider business.
- Developing the team through a structured process of performance management, providing and reviewing objectives for your team and individuals.
- Managing personnel issues on a day to day basis including: Recruitment, Coaching and Training, ensuring cover for holiday and absence and dealing promptly with disciplinary issues using the company procedure.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook with high attention to detail.
- Previous supervisory experience within a transport environment desirable.
- A solid understanding of budgets with a good understanding of transport compliance.
- Excellent communicator with effective coaching and development skills.
- Capable of operating with limited supervision within fixed guidelines.
