Great Bear (Part of the Culina Group) provides distribution services to FMCG clients. Customer-centric service focus is delivered through a site-level empowered culture.
We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on Nights to join us on Days at Great Bear Milton Keynes on a permanent and full-time basis.
Shift: Sunday-Thursday 22:00-06:00.
Salary: £27,984 per annum.
Overtime: £18.54 per hour.
- Pick stock and orders from set locations within the warehouse.
- Load customer pallets onto trailers using MHE.
- Ensure the correct amount of product is picked.
- Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain good communication with Team Leaders and Managers.
- Monitor and maintain the required housekeeping standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety via risk assessment guidelines, reporting issues to the warehouse Team Leader and Manager.
- Report damages in accordance with warehouse procedures.
- Operate MHE equipment safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience is essential for this role.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
- Operate all required MHE to meet operational requirements.
- Reasonable level of verbal & numerical reasoning.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Adaptable approach to training.
- Conscientious and reliable.
- Good working attitude.
- Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
