We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join us at Great Bear Milton Keynes on a permanent and full time basis.

Job Description

Shift: Monday-Friday – 06:00am-14:00pm and 14:00pm-22:00pm on a weekly rotation.

Salary: From Β£26,521 per annum – Equivalent to Β£12.65 per hour.

  • Pick stock and orders from set locations within the warehouse.
  • Loading customer pallets onto trailers using MHE
  • Ensure the correct amount of product is picked
  • Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times
  • Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse
  • Maintain good communication with Team Leaders and Managers
  • Monitor and maintain the required housekeeping standards.
  • Maintain Health and Safety via compliance with risk assessment guidelines ensuring that any issues are brought to the attention of the warehouse Team Leader and Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures for the reporting of damages
  • Ensure compliance while checking / operating MHE equipment

Qualifications

  • Forklift experience is essential for this role.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast moving environment.
  • Expected to operate all MHE required to deliver operational requirements both current and future
  • Must possess a reasonable level of verbal & numerical reasoning
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Adaptable approach to training
  • Conscientious and reliable
  • Good working attitude
