Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join our team at our expanding Harworth Site. As Transport Administrator you will be responsible for the daily creation of customer consignments, ensuring accuracy of information at all times. You will also be responsible for reconciliation of consignment costs against daily schedules from customer to ensure accurate charging and invoicing at week and period end.

Working hours:Any 5 from 7 nights, 22:00 – 06:00

Salary:Β£25,974 + Β£1ph Night shift Premium

Key Duties of a Transport Admin include:

  • Efficiently and accurately despatching drivers with all relevant paperwork.
  • Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required.
  • Inputted trailer details into the internal tracking system.
  • Monitoring the service board to make sure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers.
  • Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering site, when required.
  • Completing all daily tasks for compliance purposes.
  • Ensure manning levels are updated & correct.
  • Internal reporting duties.
  • Downloading vehicle & driver digital tachographs as per requirement.
  • Transport System management.

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills and time management techniques to balance priorities effectively is essential.
  • Previous experience within an administrative role.
  • There is a strong requirement to be flexible, articulate and able to cope when placed under pressure due to the changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
