Due to expansion we are recruiting to join our new friendly site in Harworth! Reporting to the Inventory Stock and Systems Manager, this role will facilitate in day-to-day processes within the supervision of the department. You will ensure that all stock control team KPI targets are met or exceeded and be involved in continuous improvement. Supervising the Stock Control department to ensure stock integrity and compliance are delivered to the highest standard. You will be fully proficient in the understanding of stock control functions accuracy, processes and be able to deliver excellent customer service through the supervision of the team procedures that are met operationally. The Stock & Systems Supervisor will deputise for the Stock Manager in their absence.

What will you be doing?
- To assist the Inventory Stock & Systems Manager in the day-to-day running of the Stock department.
- Resolving stock & system issues.
- Scheduling and supervising the activities and functions of the Stock & Admin staff.
- Ensuring the proper and timely completion of all Stock & Admin activities.
- To keep and maintain records of the Stock and Admin staff performance and personal files.
- To feedback on team and individual performance, including behavioural issues, highlighting good performance.
- To offer suggestions and assist in the organisation of training and development for the stock team Stock and Admin staff, including on-the-job coaching.
- To assist the Stock Manager in controlling levels of planned and unplanned absence and take appropriate action to ensure cover, contributing to reductions of unacceptable levels.
- To take part in maintaining high Health & Safety levels.
- To deputise for the Inventory Manager when required.
- To work as a Stock Controlβs deputy in emergency situations.
- To process stock reconciliation, resolve stock discrepancies, customer requests and stock amendments in a timely and accurate manner, whilst adhering to operational processes and procedures.
- To supervise and contribute to track & trace requests, product recall and quality assurance.
- Monitoring and scheduling daily, weekly & monthly stock counts checks.
- Full reconciliation & adjustment of all stock counts.
- To stay in communication with other Managers/Supervisors and Operational Team ensuring smooth flow of operations.
- To be involved in maintaining systems configuration.
- Visitors & stock audit assistance.
- To travel and take part in monthly meetings with customers.
Qualifications
- Flexibility within the role to cover a variety of areas within the department.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
- Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of on-site systems and processes.
- An organised and focused approach to all administrative duties.
- Administration of Kronos system for all Stock and Admin staff.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- PC Literate on intermediate level (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Should demonstrate the drive and desire to progress.
- Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns.
- Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise functions and keep staff motivated.
- Should have good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and a knack for problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal, conciliation skills and the capacity to network with suppliers and customers.
- Working knowledge of warehouse management systems would be seen as an advantage.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role and good knowledge of stock control is required.
