We're proud to employ over 22,000 colleagues across 100+ locations nationwide, supported by a fleet of more than 5,500 trucks and trailers delivering every day. \n We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Contract Logistics division - through flexible warehousing, transport and fulfilment solutions, we simplify complexity, drive continuous improvement and create exceptional experiences for customers. n Job Description \n We're looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Desborough, supporting deliveries for key customers including a leading international chocolate and confectionery manufacturer. \n This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent, full-time driving role with a 24/7 operation, delivering palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres nationwide. \n Shift patterns available: \n \n \n 4 on 4 off Days \n \n Monday to Friday Days \n \n Monday to Friday Nights \n \n Pay Rates: \n \n Nights - £20 per hour \n Days - £16.19 per hour \n \n Plus shift supplements & Overtime paid at hourly rate plus 30% \n What you'll be doing \n \n Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises. \n Complete palletised general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, with most deliveries completed as backdoor tip. \n Support occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries depending on customer demand. \n Occasional Night out may be required \n Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and communicate any delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies promptly. \n Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office. \n Follow company rules and procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards. \n Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and adhere to tachograph rules and regulations. \n Take responsibility for the unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required. \n \n Job requirements \n \n Qualifications \n What we're looking for \n \n Valid C+E Licence. \n Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred; unfortunately, we cannot accept new pass drivers for this contract \n OR drivers who wish to consider transitioning from Class 2 to Class 1 \n No more than 6 points on your licence and no DD or DR code convictions. \
