Job Description
We are now recruiting for a QC Controller to join our team in Telford on a full-time, permanent basis!
Salary: £24,444 per annum
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm
As a QC Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that correct procedures are maintained in the handling and reporting of returned or rejected goods from the depot.
Key Duties of a QC Controller:
- Ensure correct procedures are followed for all QC-held goods, with proper return forms completed, photos taken, and correct status applied.
- Manage good housekeeping within returns and QC areas.
- Handle all uplifts and customer returns.
- Follow correct procedures for goods requested for disposal.
- Liaise with Customer Services with clear and accurate information.
- Process all transactions correctly through our WMS to maintain accurate records and traceability.
- Verify related matters by checking video footage when required.
- Provide support on the floor as needed.
- Disposal tasks including paperwork, load preparation, and planning deliveries/collections with Swancote.
- Assist with stock functions such as stock clearance, including clearing CS, forklift, and depot location pallets after investigation.
- Occasionally assist with warehouse work such as PPT or Reach Truck driving (licenses required), cross dock, or stock receipting.
