We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join our friendly Gadbrook Park Team. As a Transport Administrator, you will be working alongside the transport team responsible for providing on-site operational and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking-in and checking-out registration of drivers.
  • Dispatching drivers and completing key documentation.
  • Efficiently and accurately dispatching drivers with all relevant paperwork.
  • Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required.
  • Ensuring the correct trailer numbers are inputted into the internal tracking system.
  • Monitoring the service board to ensure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers.
  • Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering the site, when required.
  • Completing all daily tasks for compliance purposes.
  • Ensuring manning levels are updated & correct.
  • Internal reporting duties.
  • Downloading vehicle & driver digital tachographs as per requirement.
  • Transport System management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within an administration role.
  • Knowledge within a Transport and Logistics environment would be desirable but not essential.
  • Able to work under pressure within a busy environment.
  • Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS packages - Word and Excel etc.
