Culina Logistics is a leading 3rd party UK logistics business specialising in chilled warehousing, providing an excellent platform for food and drink manufacturers.
We are looking for a Hygiene Operative!
- 4 on 4 off Days: 07:00 – 19:00 – £12.82 per hour – Equivalent to £26,658 per annum.
Job Description
To ensure that all Company and Customer hygiene standards are maintained and monitored in line with the company\’s systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse areas.
- Follow the current Hygiene schedule to ensure automated areas are clear of debris at the required intervals.
- Regularly empty bins using designated skips, ensuring they are in good working order and waste storage areas are kept clear.
- Provide cleaning support to areas such as Loading, Picking, and Goods Inwards.
- Ensure the site maintains a 95% score on internal audits.
- Work with other departments, including customers and Transport, to promote a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Team Leader and Shift Manager.
- Communicate hygiene issues effectively between shifts to co-workers and management.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, stored correctly, and report missing or defective equipment.
- Adhere to all risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Wear and report defects of PPE at all times.

- Reasonable literacy level.
- Comfortable completing forms.
- Flexible to learning and training.
- Team player.
- Good communication skills with colleagues at all levels.
