Job Description

Our friendly transport team in Port Salford has an exciting opportunity for a Driver Debriefer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis!

As a Driver Debriefer, you will be responsible for providing general administration support to the Transport Department.

Salary: £25,625 per annum.

Shift: 4 on 4 off, 5:30am – 5:30pm.

Key Duties of a Driver Debriefer include:

  • Correctly debriefing drivers.
  • Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
  • Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
  • Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
  • Printing all dispatch notes and replenishing dispatch paper as required.
  • Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
  • Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.
  • Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
  • Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries, and trailer check sheets.
  • Departing & completing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
  • Ensuring all uplifts are dispatched in correct loads.
  • Ensuring all trailers are tracked.

  • Effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
