Job Description
Our friendly transport team in Port Salford has an exciting opportunity for a Driver Debriefer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis!
As a Driver Debriefer, you will be responsible for providing general administration support to the Transport Department.
Salary: £25,625 per annum.
Shift: 4 on 4 off, 5:30am – 5:30pm.
Key Duties of a Driver Debriefer include:
- Correctly debriefing drivers.
- Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
- Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
- Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
- Printing all dispatch notes and replenishing dispatch paper as required.
- Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
- Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.
- Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
- Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries, and trailer check sheets.
- Departing & completing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
- Ensuring all uplifts are dispatched in correct loads.
- Ensuring all trailers are tracked.
Qualifications
- Attention to detail / accuracy.

- Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Able to work as part of a team or individually.
