We are now looking for Class 1 Drivers on Days to join our Team at Great Bear Harworth on a Full time and permanent position.
Job Description
- Shift: Monday-Friday 02:00am, 08:00am and 10:00am start
- Salary: £38,247 per annum - £14.01 per hour.
- Overtime: x 1.5 of the hourly rate - Effective once weekly contracted hours have been worked.
- Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
- Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
- Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
- Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
- Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
- Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
- Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
- Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum of recent Class 1 Driver - 1 year is essential for this position.
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
- Excellent attention to detail
