We are now recruiting for Class 1 Drivers with at least 6 months of experience, based at our Great Bear site in Minworth.
Shift: 5 ON 3 OFF
Salary: £41,769 per annum
Your job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering palletised general haulage goods nationwide
- Ensuring correct and thorough completion of paperwork
- Observing and adhering to company rules and procedures, including health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Maintaining a good working knowledge of transport department operations
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and appearance
- Managing your own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
- Adhering to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
- Completing daily vehicle checks as per company procedures
- Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
- Making deliveries to customers’ premises professionally
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours
- Excellent attention to detail
