We are now recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join our Team on a Full time and Permanent basis.
Shifts available
- Monday-Friday start times from 03:00am until 23:00pm.
- Tuesday-Saturday start times from 04:00am-09:30am
- Wednesday-Sunday start times from 09:30am until 21:30pm.
- Thursday-Monday 06:30am or 13:00pm.
- Saturday-Wednesday 18:30pm.
- Sunday-Tuesday15:00pm.
- Sunday-Wednesday 18:30pm
- Sunday-Thursday start times from 09:00am until 22:00pm.
Salary / Hourly Rates
- Mon-Fri Days – £15.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Mon-Fri Night Shift – £16.30 per hour(Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Saturday and Sunday Day Shift – £18.00 per hour(Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Saturday and Sunday Night Shift – £18.50 per hour(Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Bank Holidays – £18.81 per hour(Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
Job Description
The role will be based at our Tesco Daventry campus and will include Stores, Trunking work and General haulage. Being based on a Tesco site you will use a variety of Stobart and Tesco kit. Whilst the role will include Stobart work, you will also be expected to support the Wider Culina network when needed.
Qualifications
- You will need 6 months Class 1 experience.
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions,
- Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
