The Flodigarry Hotel are looking for a Night Porter/General Assistant to join their team. The role will involve covering the Night Porter during holiday periods, and to also work in the Bar/Restaurant.

About the Flodigarry Hotel: The Flodigarry Hotel is a small, family run hotel situated in the small village of Flodigarry, on the Isle of Skye. The Hotel is surrounded by private grounds all of which looks out to one of the most breath-taking views Scotland has to offer. The Isle of Skye is an incredibly popular holiday destination with people visiting from around the world. It is important that the successful candidate is comfortable working in fast-paced environments but most importantly shares our goal, providing guests with our famous highland hospitality we are known for, ensuring they leave with incredible memories of their experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Food and Beverage – taking orders, greeting guests, running food/drink, cash handling, clearing and setting tables, bartending
  • Night Porter (additional pay for night shifts) – Checking guests in/out, setting up for breakfast, general cleaning of hotel communal areas, hotel security

Skills/Qualities Required:

  • Experience is preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided
  • Passion and a genuine interest in hospitality
