Overview
We are looking for an experienced Domestic Assistant to join our Care Home in Pemberton, Wigan. Berkeley Gardens is a specialist care home providing person centred, rehabilitative care services for people aged 18 years and above who may have mental health, complex needs and/or acquired brain injury with complex needs.
Our domestic team is vital in ensuring that all areas of the home are cleaned and presented in such a way that it is inviting and welcoming to everyone who lives, works and visits the home.
We are looking for people who have exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and good paperwork skills, who can work with the care staff to ensure the best possible care within a homely environment. To work as part of a team to ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, dining rooms & communal areas are cleaned and kept to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Clean and present all areas of the home to high standards in collaboration with the care staff.
- Duties include but are not limited to: mopping, high & low dusting, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, wiping/sanitising surfaces and touchpoints, cleaning and replenishing bathrooms, detailed cleaning of all areas and residents rooms.
