We are on a mission to make great customer service easy for every business. We are looking for a driven and motivated Outbound Sales Development Representative. This is a proactive outbound role, responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects who fit our ideal customer profile. You will play a key role in driving top-of-funnel activity, working closely with our Account Executives to ensure meetings are high-quality, attended, and convert into revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting
- Conduct high-volume outbound outreach (calls, personalised emails, LinkedIn).
- Research and map target accounts within specific ICPs, identifying key decision-makers.
- Use prospecting tools and sector-specific resources to create targeted outreach lists.
- Qualify prospects against defined criteria, focusing on budget, authority, need, and timing.
- Nurture relationships with prospects over time to move them into sales-ready conversations.
- Book meetings that are attended and qualified, with clear context for AEs.
- Prepare Account Executives with detailed background on the prospect’s current situation, challenges, and priorities.
- Participate in regular pipeline review and feedback sessions with AEs to continuously improve lead quality.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records in HubSpot and other software tools.
- Track all prospecting activity, call notes, and qualification details.
- Provide feedback on outreach messaging, market response, and prospect trends.
KPIs & Success Measures
- 20 Meetings booked, attended, and qualified.
- Minimum 75 quality outbound calls/day.
- 50 personalised outbound emails/day (quality over quantity).
- Conversion rate: minimum 80% of booked meetings attended and qualified.
- Consistent pipeline contribution aligned with monthly revenue targets.
- AE feedback on handover quality included in performance evaluation.
Requirements
- 1–2 years in an outbound-focused role (SDR, BDR, telesales, or similar) OR demonstrable experience engaging prospects in a fast-paced sales environment.
