Cuddington Croft Primary School are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive team. Your opportunity

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, both individually and in small groups, ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality, inclusive education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering planned lessons, supporting children with a range of needs, and committed to fostering a safe, engaging and positive learning environment. What we are looking for

  • Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and a HLTA qualification.
  • Have experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning.
  • Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.
  • Be motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

About Cuddington Croft

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Cuddington Croft, our cluster includes the following other schools; The Vale Primary School, Banstead Infant School, Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools, Danetree Primary School and Floreat Wandsworth Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across this cluster, to share expertise and experience, ensuring all children in our schools receive an excellent education and reach their potential. The Details

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Salary: GLF Specialist 1 - £27,061 FTE
  • Actual Salary: £18,657.33
  • Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.40am - 3.30pm and Friday 8.40am - 12.30pm (38.6 weeks per year)
  • Closing Date: Friday 19th June at 9.30am
  • Interview Date: TBC
