As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care in residential, nursing, or community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting personal care — washing, dressing and toileting — with dignity and respect
- Helping with mobility, moving and physical activity
- Monitoring and recording changes in health and wellbeing
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with meals, hydration and nutrition
- Keeping the environment safe, clean and comfortable
- Some placements involve administering medication — this depends on the setting and your training, and we'll always be clear about which applies before you accept a shift
This is an agency-based role where you will have the ability to work in different locations. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship.
