The Role

You’ll have overall responsibility for the leadership, management and regulatory compliance of two children’s residential homes, ensuring safe, nurturing and therapeutic environments where children can flourish.

Working collaboratively with senior leaders, you’ll drive service excellence, develop outstanding teams and ensure the homes continue to meet and exceed Ofsted expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold Ofsted registration as the Registered Manager.
  • Lead the operational management of two children’s residential homes.
  • Ensure compliance with all Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections.
  • Promote outstanding safeguarding practice and child-centred care.
  • Oversee recruitment, supervision, appraisal and development of staff.
  • Ensure robust care planning, risk management and placement matching.
  • Build effective relationships with commissioners, Local Authorities, education providers, healthcare professionals and families.
  • Monitor budgets, occupancy and operational performance.
  • Maintain high-quality records, audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and positive outcomes for children and young people.
