Cucumber Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading Scottish charity that delivers high-quality, person‑centred support to adults with physical and complex needs. We’re currently looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join a residential adult service providing support in Carluke.
The Role
This is a day shift position, working 3 x 12‑hour shifts per week on a planned rota to support a healthy work–life balance. You’ll be supporting adults who live in their own self‑contained accommodation within a homely, community‑based setting. The focus of the role is to provide reassurance, safety and responsive care throughout your shift.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one support
- Assisting with personal care, medication and night‑time routines
- Supporting mobility, communication and emotional wellbeing
- Maintaining a safe and calm environment
- Carrying out checks and responding appropriately to any needs
- Supporting independence, dignity and personal choice at all times
