The Role

As Registered Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across two children's residential homes, ensuring they consistently deliver high-quality, therapeutic care while remaining fully compliant with Ofsted requirements and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.

Working closely with senior leadership, you\'ll champion a culture of excellence, support your teams to achieve the very best outcomes and play a key role in the continued development of the services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager.
  • Lead and inspire residential care teams across two children's homes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Maintain and improve Ofsted inspection outcomes.
  • Lead safeguarding practice and promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Oversee admissions, matching and placement stability.
  • Ensure care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans are of the highest standard.
  • Recruit, supervise, mentor and develop Residential Support Workers, Team Leaders and Deputy Managers.
  • Build strong partnerships with Local Authorities, Social Workers, education providers, healthcare professionals and families.
  • Monitor service performance, staffing levels, occupancy and budgets.
  • Ensure all records, audits and regulatory documentation are accurate and compliant.
  • Lead the homes through Ofsted inspections and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
